All About Nephon

Nephon is a small in-house project of ThatOne Company. We're just a small enterprise consulting company, but with a lot of really smart people and much larger ambitions (we also have no trouble getting all the chaos emeralds in Sonic & Knuckles). We moved all of our infrastructure into the cloud a couple of years ago and never looked back (I still fondly remember removing the last of our servers from a datacenter and thinking how great it would be to never have to step foot in that place again). Since our move, we've managed to make do with the tools available, but never really felt like they were meeting our needs. It was always a hassle to keep track of everything, make sure the monitoring servers were running, etc so we cooked up the idea for Nephon as an internal project. As we worked on it, we kept an eye on the mighty internet to see if someone else would save us from ourselves and provide the kind of tools we wanted, but it never happened.

Our passion for cloud computing gave rise to Nephon, a unified management and monitoring solution for the cloud. After a lot of hard work, and more than a few major hiccups, we've put together something that we're not only immensely proud of, but that we use to run our own infrastructure. There's just four of us working on this project, and we're still doing consulting work full time, so the site is a labor love that we pour our time into whether we have it to give or not. Hopefully, you'll find Nephon as useful as we do. The product is still young, but we intend to bring amazing features and innovation at a rapid pace.
